Ethiopia Unlocked is an independent travel publication about Ethiopia. We write the guides we wished existed when we first planned trips here: specific, honest about costs and logistics, respectful of the people and places we cover, and current.
Every guide is researched against first-hand accounts and checked against official sources — park fees, visa portals, festival calendars — before publishing, and revisited when things change. Where we recommend a tour, lodge or flight-search partner, the link may be an affiliate link: booking through it costs you nothing extra and funds the writing. Partners never see or influence a guide before it is published.
