Logistics
Fly Addis → Gondar daily (about an hour); the airport is 18 km south, hotels arrange transfers. Stay near the Piazza for atmosphere or at Goha Hotel for the sunset city view. Most travellers give Gondar a full day, then transfer to Debark for the Simiens — the pairing is the backbone of the classic 10-day northern circuit.
